We work primarily on whole-house and multi-room commissions — projects where the window treatments are considered as part of a wider interior scheme, rather than an afterthought. What Distinguishes Hand-Made?

Every curtain and Roman blind we produce is crafted entirely by hand. Hand-sewn headings retain their structure beautifully over time, while perfectly weighted hems ensure a flawless, elegant fall. Rather than standard linings, our interlinings are chosen individually for each fabric to deliver essential practical and luxury benefits. They provide exceptional insulation and heat retention, protect natural fibres from sun damage to ensure longevity, prevent creasing, and add a rich, substantial weight to the drape.

We can create any heading style imaginable, from classic pinch pleat and country pleat to the modern, fluid lines of a wave heading. Complex architecture is a particular specialty; we excel in crafting shaped headings for complex apex windows — a precise discipline that requires far more advanced technical expertise than the average workroom can provide. To complete the layout, we design and produce both soft and hard structured pelmets, as well as formal swags and tails for period properties.

 

Advanced Motorisation, Poles & Tracks

To support your window treatments, we supply and fit a premium range of curtain poles and tracks. For modern luxury and convenience, we offer an advanced range of motorised tracks and poles, and we can fully motorise our bespoke Roman blinds as well.

We work predominantly with Somfy motorisation systems, chosen for their ultra-quiet operation, concealed hardware, and exceptional reliability in everyday use. These systems are fully compatible with leading high-end home automation networks, and they integrate seamlessly with everyday smart platforms including Google Home and Apple Home.

 

Fabrics and Trimmings

We hold accounts with the principal fabric houses—including Colefax & Fowler, Zoffany, Lewis & Wood, Romo, and Linwood—as well as a number of independent and specialist weavers.

For private clients, we manage the fabric supply as part of our comprehensive service. This is not a constraint, but a quality assurance: when we take responsibility for every element, from receiving and inspecting the fabric carefully before cutting to the final fitting, we can guarantee a flawless result.
