Cushions & Passementerie

A cushion is a small element that carries a great deal of visual weight. Proportion, fabric choice, the loft of the pad, each of these details determines whether a cushion looks beautifully considered or merely placed. We craft bespoke cushions using fabrics from our principal collections, coordinating them to the wider space or introducing distinct textures and contrast.

We produce scatter cushions, tailored box cushions for window seats and banquettes to any specified dimension. Whether finished with clean, plain edges or embellished with exquisite trimmings, fringes, braids, and piping, every piece is filled with high-grade fillings including duck feather or down pads to ensure a luxurious, invitingly soft sit that effortlessly plumps back to a beautifully relaxed fullness.

 

Bed Treatments & Custom Headboards

The bedroom is where window treatments and soft furnishings have the greatest opportunity to work together as a cohesive whole. We design and craft bespoke bed valances, bedspreads, throws and canopies made to the same exacting standards as our curtains and blinds.

For interior designers and private clients developing a complete bedroom scheme, we handle the production of all coordinating pieces under one roof. This guarantees total design cohesion across the space, ensuring that fabric orientations, pattern placement, and finishing details remain flawlessly consistent.

 

Upholstery

We take on upholstery commissions selectively. This includes the creation of custom headboards, bespoke ottoman boxes, and storage stools, as well as the skilled re-covering of smaller upholstered furniture.

We are especially glad to work with furniture that carries personal meaning: A nursing chair that has been in the family for generations; a favourite reading chair that deserves a premium cloth or a footstool that simply needs to look the part. Bringing a cherished piece back to its absolute best is something we love to do.
